Presented by Dr. Suzanne Zentner, A Teacher’s Net Worth is a practical, hands-on workshop series designed to help educators navigate personal finance and financial well-being. Join the hundreds who have taken A Teacher’s Net Worth series, and deepened their understanding of their state pension, improved their credit score, reduced their debt and increased their savings rate.
This course is taught as a series and you will earn 10 hours of Professional Development credit for attending all 6 sessions.
This series will focus on the following modules:
Monday 2/6: Budgeting Basics
In this practical, hands-on workshop, you will;
- learn how to build a basic budget and stick to it
- get you started with 10 easy steps to successful budgeting
- identify spending habits that inhibit savings by completing a fully customizable worksheet for your own use
- complete a fully customizable worksheet budget spreadsheet for your own use
- calculate how small, recurring expenses can have a big impact on your monthly cash flow
- recognize how a side hustle and being creative can impact your monthly cash flow
Tuesday 2/7: Automating Your Savings and Understanding Pre and Post Tax Retirement Tools
Wednesday 2/8: Debt Elimination Strategies
Monday 2/13: Understanding Your Salary and Benefit Package
Tuesday 2/14: Health, Wellness and Goal Setting
