Promoting Literacy-High School: Reading is just one facet of literacy, and literacy is not taught in isolation in the Language Arts classroom. Successful students must be critical observers of the world around them. This session will provide participants with strategies to promote literacy in all content areas, specifically focusing on strategies related to vocabulary, inquiry, writing, and critical analysis.
Audience: High School educators and leaders
Models: Online, In-person, or Hybrid teachers
Certificate Hours: PD certificate for 3 hours upon completion of session
