Science of Reading: Foundational Reading Skills
In this series, participants will begin to unpack the science of literacy by building a common foundation. We will examine the science of literacy principles, the simple view of reading, and the reading rope. From there we will explore ideas and strategies surrounding phonological awareness, phonemic awareness, phonics, and word recognition.
Audience: PK-5 educators and leaders
Certificate Hours: PD certificate for 6 hours upon completion of three day boot camp
