Developing a Parent/Teacher Relationship

Virtual learning is unique, as is the approach to the parent/teacher relationship. Because of the unique challenges of virtual learning, it is more important than ever that teachers and parents collaborate to help their children progress without delay. This session will focus on how to navigate the parent/teacher virtual relationship and practical strategies for success.

Navigating Canvas

Canvas is a course management system that supports online learning and teaching. It allows teachers to post grades, information, and assignments online. Canvas provides the tools to support online learning in a variety of ways, and it is a platform that many schools, including ASU Prep Digital, use to house content. It is key that parents understand Canvas as a platform, and this session will provide a walk through of all key features of the Learning Management System as well as time for exploration.
