Deciding where to send your little ones to school is a big decision, especially if they’re just starting kindergarten. Early learning can unlock a lifetime of possibilities, help your child develop their strengths and interests, and provide crucial social experiences. That’s why it’s so important to offer online Kindergarten Info Sessions to help you understand how our kindergarten program works and why it might be the best fit for your child.
The benefits of online learning
Our online elementary school program provides families with the opportunity to access a world-class education from the comfort and safety of home. We combine hands-on activities with online lessons to create an engaging experience personalized to your child’s needs.
Parents collaborate with our certified teachers to support their student’s success through a project-based model that encourages young learners to be curious, and work ahead at their own pace.
Creating a unique learning experience
The ASU Elementary School program is special. Like most online schools, we have a flexible schedule that allows kids to work any time, any place. But, we’re also a world-class university with the technology and teaching resources proven to help children thrive.
Despite the fact our Kindergarten experience isn’t housed in the physical classroom, we work from a model that surrounds each of our students with support and creates a warm, safe space where they can be vulnerable enough to take risks in their learning.
Our engaging curriculum combines the best of online and offline hands-on activities and personalized one-on-one instruction. Each day, our kindergarteners experience live lessons with an online teacher, including Whole Class Time, where they bond with their fellow classmates.
Preview our digital learning environment
Our Kindergarten Info Sessions are one-time virtual events designed to give you an inside look at ASU Prep Digital’s Kindergarten Program. We’ll cover everything you need to know about our digital learning environment and answer any questions you may have as a parent of a new student.
Each Info Session will last approximately one hour, 20 minutes of which we’ll spend giving you and your child a firsthand experience of what it’s like to attend kindergarten at home. One of our teachers will lead a real, hands-on activity, much like the kind your child would experience on a daily basis as a student of our program.
