ASU recommends you spend 6 study hours for every 1 credit hour of enrollment in a 14-week academic semester. If you are in an accelerated (A or B session) course, this amount will be higher. For example, if you are taking a 3-credit course, you will need to spend at least 18 hours/week (+ 3 hours for “class time”) outside of class working in your course.
