My dream career is to be an author. Being an author excites me because I love writing. I have been writing stories ever since I was little. So, being an author would give me a chance to share those stories and some of my creativity.
ASUPD is helping me get closer to this dream by having a blog club. This club has shown me how much I do enjoy writing and how much fun I have while writing. ASUPD also plays a role by teaching me better sentence structure and by teaching me better grammar. I also like how much creative and informational writing we do for school.
The steps I am taking to get closer to this dream is getting my stories out there by sharing them on my Youtube page and writing stories for my friends. Writing so much also helps me get better at writing plots. I still struggle with sticking to one story at a time and writing the middle of the plot. But making likeable characters and unique plots are some of my strengths.
This is just my example of how I follow my dream. There are many different jobs and even more dreams to dream. If you don’t know what you want to do yet, all is okay. When I worry about the future, my mom always tells me the world is ever-changing. So the thing you dream to do may not be real yet. So don’t stress out too much. Also, it’s never too late to decide what you want to do. It could be today or it could be many years into the future when you find out what your true passion is. But remember life is always more than work and take breaks when you need to. Take care of yourself too, work will always be there. ♥
