A powerful start on the path to high school

Middle school students at ASU Prep Digital+ at ASU Prep West Valley participate in on-site humanities instruction that integrates English language arts (ELA) and social studies through Project-Based Learning (PBL). This approach emphasizes collaboration, critical thinking and communication.

With two days per week on campus and three days of digital coursework, students build strong academic foundations while developing essential life skills, such as:

• Time management
• Organization
• Goal-setting
• Collaboration

Rooted in a supportive and community-centered environment, the program encourages students to explore ideas, work together and grow as confident, independent learners prepared for high school, college and beyond.

Early curiosity grows into college-ready confidence

The middle school Digital+ program embeds three core components that balance on-site humanities learning, digital coursework, and intentional development of executive functioning and community.

• Humanities and PBL core experience: Participate in on-site humanities learning through PBL, building skills in reading, writing, collaboration and critical thinking while exploring real-world topics.
• Digital Learning Flexible Academic Foundation: Complete core academic courses online three days per week, building independence and flexibility while staying on track academically.
• Community and student development: Benefit from individual attention and team-based learning experiences that build executive functioning, collaboration and community.
