New Student Updates

The launch of session one academic courses is upon us. It’s always a fun day when students get to see their classes and meet teachers!  That said, as with any school launch, scheduling hiccups are inevitable. We are working through each issue one by one. Meanwhile, the following information may be helpful.

Grace period

Students will NOT be penalized for any scheduling or technical delays. A 14-day grace period has always been part of our program to cover time needed for schedule shifts and ensure no students fall behind.

Schedule changes

LSCs are working diligently to reach out students and address scheduling needs. Meanwhile, you can begin working in any courses available to you in Canvas once you reach your start date.

Help tickets and tech support

If you have already submitted a help ticket due to technical issues, please allow time to hear back from our tech team as they are working through each request as quickly as possible. If you specifically need login support, we are scheduling 10 minute Zoom appointments to walk you through login help in real time. Just let us know if you need help via a private message on Facebook, and we’ll get you scheduled.

Courses not showing up

Some students may experience delays in seeing their full load of courses in their schedule. Go ahead and get started on the courses you are able to see.

Logging in to Clever

Log in to Clever with the student’s ASU Prep Digital email address and password that they received via email. For more information, visit the login help page.

Live lessons

We will be adding additional live lessons throughout the next month. Please check the calendar often and pick the time(s) that work best for you and your schedule.  If you miss a live lesson, the recording will be posted on the course homepage. Live lessons are not required, but they offer a great opportunity to connect with fellow students and your teacher. You might make a point of attending live lessons for those subjects or lessons where you need the most help. Remember, recordings of the live lessons will also be available.

Pace charts and due dates

Typically, students will have 3-4 assignments per week, per class. Instead of Pace Charts, due dates will automatically populate for each assignment starting next week. In the meantime, we recommend checking the course home page to see due dates and what is due this week.

Stay tuned for more updates to come!
