Starting out the new semester as a junior, I’m most excited about taking the courses of both Fashion Design and English for my classes. Fashion Design is something new I tried out for this time, and my schedule overall reflects my own goals of making sure of working ahead and gaining passing grades.
My class-lineup involves the order of: Fashion Design, Spanish, English, Homeroom, Chemistry, Algebra, and US History. I usually work on at least the number of assignments due for each class each day of a week in a given free time, I make sure to attend live lessons everyday, and I am currently in the Student Blog club at the moment.
I set my goals by taking a few looks on what each assignment is due by a date or given time from what my teachers input, then timing how long I should work on an assignment before turning it in. I avoid distractions around me by first putting my phone on do not disturb and then taking some free time to myself alone to work, and my school routine slightly improved with limiting distractions and making sure to keep notes on standby for myself.
Overall, it’s quite helpful for students at ASUPD to experiment with what schedule or task-list works best for them as such as I did for myself, it’s more flexible to make work easier and not overwhelming. 😊
