The club that I have chosen to highlight for this piece is the yearbook club. It is a place where students can come together and work on a meaningful project together in order to express their creativity. If you are considering joining this club, but want to know more information first then you have come to the right place! In this piece, I will discuss various information about this club.
The club’s mission is to come together to create something that has meaning to everyone in ASU Prep Digital. It also aims to preserve the memory’s of this school. During meetings the yearbook is discussed, and students are given tasks for each week. Their is not necessarily any upcoming events for the club, besides the making the Yearbook.
I took some time to interview the club’s sponsor, and I gained some interesting insights from the interview. One of these insights is that what students tend to like the most about the club is the opportunity to showcase their creativity. Also those who are interested in joining the Yearbook club are encouraged and welcomed to join! Overall, from researching the Yearbook club it sounds like a nice club to join if you are creative and have the time for it.
I think this club is a very important part of ASU Digital Prep because it works towards something tangible that means a lot to the students in ASU Prep. If you are wanting to join a club but are not sure where to start, then perhaps this one could be a good fit for you.
